Live 2 B Healthy® is pleased to announce new LIVE virtual Senior Fitness Classes in the St. Croix Valley Region. We got our start offering group fitness classes in senior living communities across the country. For the first time ever, our virtual classes are being offered directly to individuals who choose to continue to live in private homes.
Our LIVE Virtual classes are taught by the same nationally-certified Trainers as our on-site community-based classes, but are open to all seniors who want to
REDUCE FALL RISK, INCREASE INDEPENDENCE, COMBAT ISOLATION & BOOST IMMUNITY.
This is new technology for many of us! Don’t worry – it’s easier than it appears. If you are unsure of how to access our classes with your link, please see our cheat sheet with illustrations to help guide you through. Still having trouble – call us and we will talk you through it.
Many of our class participants are at differing levels of ability. Feel free to remain seated in a stable chair throughout the class, or, if standing, be sure you have a counter or something to help you with balance nearby. If you have a specific concern, such as a recent injury or surgery, please let your trainer know before class so they can help you with modifications throughout the session. For detailed information on how to access mute, chat and video features, please see our informational handout.
Having your video on is optional. To fully connect with your classmates and trainer, we encourage you to turn your camera on!
You may be automatically muted upon entering the class, but feel free to unmute. Out of respect for your fellow class participants, we ask that you mute yourself if you have any background noise going on that could interfere with others’ ability to hear the trainer (ie: dogs barking, traffic, television, ringing phones, etc…).
The class may be recorded for attendance verification, but the recordings will not be available for viewing after the class.
Yes, if you are new, you may want to login 10 minutes early to meet your instructor and other class participants, but all of our classes are intended for you to move at your own pace. Feel free to rest or exert yourself as suits your needs.
Just like in our on-site classes, we encourage you to login early to get settled into your class. This way, if you have technical issues, we may be able to help troubleshoot and get you into class on time.
Find a quiet space, where you will have enough room to spread your arms and legs out comfortably without knocking into furniture or walls. If you can, set up your camera so that your trainer can see your full body – that way, they can help with any alignment tips during class. Have a sturdy chair without wheels on it nearby. Some classes conduct most exercises from the chair. If standing, the chair is good to assist with balance.
You can join Zoom very easily from your Smartphone or tablet. Just download the Zoom App from the App Store. It may be a bit harder to see your trainer on a small screen, but it works to get you moving!
Your instructor may suggest specific equipment to use during class, such as a small set of dumbells, but, if you don’t have access to them, feel free to grab 2 cans of veges from the pantry or a couple of water bottles.
You can simply access Zoom from your web browser to participate. You can download the Zoom app or set up a Zoom account to join class but it isn’t required. If you have trouble, please visit the Zoom FAQ. Visit Zoom’s privacy policy here.
Make sure your internet connection is working. If that isn’t the issue, try restarting Zoom. If you’re still having trouble, please try the Zoom FAQ or contact us at . If you are new to Zoom, may we suggest you test out the link we give you prior to the first day of class. That way, if you have trouble, we have more time to help you. Don’t worry that you will “accidently join another class” at a time other than your class time. That link is only for your class and accessing it at a time other than during class will be like entering an empty classroom.
Most internet connections, broadband or wireless, should be acceptable.
Internet connections can be unstable or lose connectivity. If you get disconnected during a live class, reconnect using the same Zoom link you were emailed before class. If you need additional technical assistance, contact .
Live classes may freeze if your network bandwidth is low. This can vary from day to day, depending on weather and local usage.
The volume level will vary depending on your device and internet connection. Try adjusting the volume controls on your computer, mobile device or speakers.
A sturdy chair.
Occasionally, our trainers may use mini-balls, bands or loops during class. You may feel free to substitute items you have around the house, including hand weights or even water bottles. If you would like to have your own equipment, we can mail you a set directly to your home for $55.00, including postage. Contact us for more information:

He grew up playing sports, and spent 3 years after college playing football in Europe. After a serious neck injury forced an early retirement of his athletic career, he channeled his passion into helping his clients recover from pain through fitness routines designed to help re-align joints. With as little as 20 minutes a day of corrective exercise, Coach Cameron goes joint by joint through the entire kinetic chain to help the clients restore alignment, and then move onto higher levels of function and practical movement.
His goal is to help re-establish a safe movement routine that progresses clients into a pain free, healthy and strong lifestyle.
