To add new Class Participants to the class, you will need the First Name, Last Name and full birthdate (mm/dd/yyyy) or their SilverSneakers number from their card.

Add new members through the IRC:  https://instructor.tivityhealth.com

 

Class Attendance Tracking:

>Log into the IRC: https://instructor.tivityhealth.com

>Go to  Contracts, then Schedule; If Owner is tracking, select “Other instructor’s classes” and “Unassigned Classes”

>Select the class date

>Select “Track Attendance”

>For Registered Participants, select the "Attended" box

>For Walk In Members, scroll down to "By Tivity Health Number“ or “By Member Information” and add information

>Enter "Total Class Count" (all Participants: non-SilverSneakers & SilverSneakers)

*Must be completed within 25 days from class event, we prefer 48 hours

*Attendance is best tracked through the IRC either Desktop Version or on a mobile device

Cost per visit: For locations, if after three months classes are not seeing an average of 8 or more visits the payment plan will be switched to cost per visit plan, payment plan will be $2.25 per member visit up to $50.00 a class.

For classes after two months averaging 10 or more member visits the payment plan will switch to $3.00 per member visit up to $75.00 a class.

FLEX payment plan: For all new locations; payment plan will be $19.00 minimum for 0-10 SilverSneakers members and $3.00 extra after the 10th member visit up to $50.00 a class.
If after three months classes are not seeing an average of 8 or more visits the payment plan will be switched to cost per visit plan.
A note from Amanda: Attendance needs to average above 8 participants for four consecutive weeks prior to making the flip to Flex payment plan ($19 a session). Once the flip takes place the class is subject to be flipped back to the Cost per visit plan ($2.25) after four consecutive weeks if an average less than 8. The 90-day trial at the Flex payment plan is for first time class adds only, and does not apply to flips from per Flex payment to Cost per visit payment.  You will also receive $3.00 extra after the 10th member visit up to $50.00 a class.

To remain certified to teach SilverSneakers classes, instructors are required to maintain their own IRC Profiles with the following:
CPR/AED - Varies with certification
Complete 8 SilverSneakers™ CECs to maintain Foundations. Earn eight hours of SilverSneakers continuing education credits every two years using any combination of the following options:
 - webinar trainings at two credit hours each
- in-person training at eight credit hours each
- online format trainings at two credit hours each
