I have been with Live 2 B Healthy for over 3 years and really enjoy the program. The instructors are knowledgeable and fun. The owner, Kelly, is easy to work with. We have a group of about 15 regular attendees who love our instructor (he's like a son to us}. The exercise programs vary from day to day, providing us with strength, cardio, balance, stretching, and cognitive workouts. It's a great program!!!
The one big benefit I have is improved balance. When we first started I could only do like one or two seconds on one foot. With the various exercises and balance practice and training I can regularly do 15 to 20 seconds and on a good day make it to 30 seconds. And I do feel more sure-footed around curbs and stairs. Also the box squats are big and I feel they have increased my stamina and strength. It really is beneficial to exercise with others and have an encouraging trainer.
Working with Kelly and her team at Live2 B Healthy has been a fantastic partnership! Kelly is passionate about offering quality fitness programming that meets the needs of seniors. She hires staff who work hard to inspire and energize those who attend while giving them options for different moves. She understands the unique needs of this population related to their overall health. Kelly has been a joy to work with as she is upbeat and positive, quick to respond back, and eager to help. I highly recommend Live2 B Healthy!
Increased flexibility. Helping to rebuild and keep muscle strength – particularly in back and arms. Social interaction with others we would not see if not for the exercise program. Our instructor makes it fun, and always a chance for a good laugh! Our doctors recommend we continue!
It is wonderful that I've been able to attend the free Live 2 B Healthy® class at Parkplace for the last few years. I live very close by and I've made many friends there. It will be the first place I speak to when I decide I don't want to live alone anymore. I can't overstate how much the Live 2 B Healthy® class has done for me, I think it saved my life since it was so close and I need to exercise to stay strong and flexible!
Hi , just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for our exercise classes. They have changed my life. When I moved to Applewood, I could barely walk and every thing I did was painful. Now I am pain free and pretty strong. I’ve noticed how strong our whole class is getting, thanks to Sandy. I bet if you did those tests you used to, you’d be amazed @ the difference. Ann was fun but Sandy loves being” our drill instructor”. We love it too. Her entertainment is nutrition education🥰👍 Blessings
